How to pay: GET the URL. Without payment the answer is HTTP 402; the JSON body is the x402 v2 envelope (x402Version 2, resource, accepts[0]: scheme exact, network eip155:8453, asset USDC 0x833589fCD6eDb6E08f4c7C32D4f71b54bdA02913, amount in atomic units, payTo 0xc91cE6291eDC0713ec753BAFBA002506ffb2b95c, extensions.bazaar with input/output examples) and PAYMENT-REQUIRED carries the same JSON base64. Sign the EIP-3009 transferWithAuthorization for that amount and resend the identical request with PAYMENT-SIGNATURE (v2) or X-PAYMENT (v1, network "base"); the facilitator https://facilitator.payai.network verifies and settles; the response carries PAYMENT-RESPONSE. HEAD also answers 402. Requests with a payment header but bad parameters answer 400 before anything is verified or settled; weather points outside NWS coverage and TLDs without RDAP are refused the same way. An upstream failure after settlement answers 502 {code:"upstream_failed"} and the same payment header is honoured once more within 10 minutes (wait 10 s). Unpaid probes: 60 per minute per address.
